![]() With careful use of Snooze, Hero can secure an early KO from plenty of the moves in his kit, and even get back some MP when deciding to use a smash attack. Snooze - Snooze is a fantastic tool for getting a devastating punish against the opponent, held back only by its slow speed and mediocre range. Though the increase to received knockback is an issue, it makes sense given the context of the move, and can be worked around with proper knowledge of the move’s properties. In the hands of a skilled player, Acceleratle is very useful at overwhelming the opponent with quick, strong combos and an excellent off-stage presence, moving it up one tier from the previous version of this list. Just be sure not to accidentally SD while using it, as I have done many times before. It also vastly improves his recovery, in addition to the immense boost of speed that he receives making him faster than both Sonic and Shulk. As such, it was ranked in S-tier in the original version of this list, and it still more than deserves the spot even now.Īcceleratle - One of the most difficult moves in Hero’s kit to use, Acceleratle is a tricky yet fantastic move that offers great rewards when used properly. With the added bonuses of having no timer, being relatively low in MP cost, and being able to break shields, Psyche Up is purely beneficial to Hero, not having any drawbacks like Oomph and Acceleratle. It grants a multiplier of 1.2 to both damage and knockback, which can be terrifying at high percents. Psyche Up - Psyche Up essentially makes every melee move in Hero’s kit into a kill move, allowing him to KO about 40% earlier if used properly, depending on the move used. Even in the original version of this list, Kaboom held the top spot, and many will agree that Kaboom is a true force to be reckoned with. It’s only drawback is the high amount of MP it requires to be cast (37), making it the most expensive non-Magic Burst spell in Hero’s menu, and the second most costly spell overall, after Kazap. It has great range, insane damage and kill power, and even has a windbox that sucks in anyone who tries to dodge it. Kaboom is, without doubt, the best projectile in the game. Kaboom - The top spot for projectiles in Hero’s kit goes to Kaboom, and it isn’t even close. Now, without further ado, let’s get started! Introducing: Koolio’s Command Selection Tier List Ver. As such, if you count Whack/Thwack the same, that will give Hero 20 spells to work with, with four in each tier. I have also broken up Bang/Kaboom and Sizz/Sizzle, due to their vastly different levels of impact on the game. As a result, many spells have drastically moved through the tiers, while others have stayed the same. After getting more familiar with the character and taking into account the feedback I received from this subreddit and the Hero Discord server, I’ve decided to revamp the tier list according to what benefits Hero the most in the game overall, rather than from a strictly competitive perspective. A few months ago, I posted a tier list of the spells that Hero has in his down-special, Command Selection. My name is Koolio, and I’m a proud Hero main. ![]() Galint Gaming - Organizers of Battle of BC 5Ĭody - Top modern Brawl player, champion of Apex 2022Īaron - Top Ultimate Diddy Kong for Moist EsportsĪpolloKage - Current best Snake main in UltimateĬosmos - Top Aegis main, champion of Shine 2022įor a full list, click here!
